I am the mother of two incredible children, a one year old and a three year old. They continually amaze me and make me laugh and they are two of my most favorite people on this planet. I love Starbucks, Eighties music and every other type of music in between, traveling, speaking Spanish and reading a good book on a rainy day (not that I have time anymore as a mom!). In my "former life" before becoming a mom and photographer, I was a high school Spanish teacher, worked on Capitol Hill, interned with the Department of State and traveled any chance I got! I am an army brat and have moved seventeen times and wouldn't change it for the world. I treasure my friendships and love a good laugh as much as I love heartfelt talks.

I am absolutely addicted to taking photographs, and I never want to miss a moment. I see the world as a photograph, and I am constantly thinking how I can make what I see into a work of art. I love trying new ideas and personalizing sessions, and would love to capture your moments and turn them into tangible memories that you will look back on and treasure forever.

If you want to learn even more fun facts about me, you can read my interview with Raising Arizona Kids Magazine or this blog post.

I am a mother of two amazing boys, 19 and 10. I live in Gilbert, Arizona and have lived in the area for about 18 months. Having previously lived in Las Vegas, it's nice to live in a more rural and less "busy" city. I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and spent a lot of time in Miami as well. I also lived in Anchorage, Alaska for 7 years and loved the raw natural beauty of the place. I am currently engaged to a wonderful man who is also involved in our photography business , doing mostly sports and action photography and video. When we're not working on our photography or taking care of our wonderful clients, we are either out camping with our quad or on horseback. We have six phenomenal horses and I wouldn't change my life if I could.

Photography to me is a form of art that really is soulful and full of passion. I can't express to you how amazing it feels when I see a lady that usually can't stand photos of herself light up at her proofs and be so eager to share them I barely have time to edit first. Or the joy in a mother's voice when she's looking at her baby's first photos and the gratitude that is expressed in everything she says. The high pitched shrill and laughter of a teen aged girl who is so excited she can't form a sentence as she peeks through her photos and frets about which ones to pick because "they all look so good!".

I decided, I really enjoyed that part of photography and that I wanted to make this my career. Your happiness and appreciation put a smile on my face and a warmth in my heart, that makes all the hours spent in the Arizona heat and all the rocks I climb to "get the shot" and all the sore muscles at the end of the day, (because I couldn't stay in one place and get the right angle) so much more than worth it!
